FAQ

Which lash styles do studios order most for round eyes?

Cat-eye and squirrel dominate — both move the visual weight outward and elongate the eye. Centre-peaked doll sets are the least ordered and carry an industry-wide caution for this shape.

Why is doll mapping discouraged on round eyes?

A centre peak adds height where the eye is already tallest, exaggerating roundness. When clients request it anyway, artists flatten the peak and cap curls at CC.

Where does D curl belong on round eyes?

Outer third only, on cat-eye style sets. Central D curl concentration is the common mistake — it rounds and startles the look.
