Lash Extension Length by Region: What Sells Where
Choosing the right length range is one of the first decisions a private-label lash brand makes — and the answer isn't universal. Length preference shifts by market, driven by local aesthetics, eye shape and beauty culture. Here's what we see across the main regions, from a manufacturer's order data.

- Europe — 7–13mm. The European market leans natural. Classic and light-volume sets in shorter-to-mid lengths dominate; 8–11mm is the everyday core. Buyers here prioritize a believable, "your-lashes-but-better" finish over drama.
- Asia — 8–13mm. Similar mid-length band, with strong demand for lightweight fibers and clean, defined looks. 9–12mm is the workhorse range.
- North America (US) — broad, trending long. The US spans natural to bold. Mid-lengths sell steadily, but demand for longer and ultra-long lashes (16–25mm) is meaningfully higher than in Europe, especially in volume and mega-volume styles.
- Latin America — bold, long. A strong appetite for dramatic, full, ultra-long sets (up to 25mm) — particularly popular with clients who have larger eyes and want maximum impact.
Why the difference
Length demand tracks local beauty culture: markets that favor a natural daytime look concentrate in the 7–13mm band, while markets that embrace bold, statement lashes pull the range up into 16–25mm. Eye shape matters too — clients with larger or more open eyes carry longer lengths well, which is part of why ultra-long sets are so popular in the US and Latin American markets.
What this means for your brand
- Match your length range to your target market, not to a generic spec sheet. A brand selling into Europe and one selling into Latin America should stock different length curves.
- Don't over-buy the extremes. If your customers are European salons, a deep 20–25mm range will sit in inventory. If you're selling to a US/Latin audience, under-stocking length is a missed sale.
- Ultra-long is a custom capability, not a separate product. Standard length ranges cover most demand; longer lengths up to 25mm are available on special request across classic, volume and premade styles — so you can offer them without committing inventory until there's an order.
